Cinderella band members Eric Brittingham and Jeff LaBar join Brandon Gibbs in creating a new band titled CHEAP THRILL.
CHEAP THRILL brings you a sound flavored with Cinderella tunes such as Nobody’s Fool, Heart Break Station, Gypsy Road; Hello and Goodbye from Jeff LaBar's soon to be released CD; along with the newest song from Brandon’s solo record, This Town, which is currently featured on ESPN 2 for the NHRA season. This show is littered with popular covers and stadium rock songs.
Brittingham and LaBar, both of Cinderella, a multi platinum band that emerged in the mid-80s and sold more than 15 million albums, are pumped about CHEAP THRILL and the opportunity to continue working together and alongside Gibbs. Add to this already talented lineup powerhouse rock drummer, Cheney Brannon, (Collective Soul 2008-2012) (John Corabi Band) only enhances the force of this show.
When Cinderella isn’t touring, Gibbs and Brittingham have always found themselves working together off and on throughout the last five years. Legendary Rock Interviews, John Parks said in a recent review of a Cheap Thrill show of Brandon Gibbs, “Brandon Gibbs continued to erase any doubts or preconceived notions I may have admittedly had about him or his seemingly under the radar status. The guy is a star, as in a “Jani Lane in his prime” quality front man.” The Nashville-based group CHEAP THRILL made their debut on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in March of 2013, and thus started the buzz about this new band that is storming the country with their modern mix of rock and stage presence that is loaded with more energy than a steaming locomotive.
"Being able to transition from a three-piece acoustic show to an all out pumped up electric show keeps the project fun and versatile,” says Brittingham. Gibbs says, “It’s all about the music. We have fine-tuned a product that will appeal to audiences of all ages.”
CHEAP THRILL is making their presence known from NY to Vegas to CA and everywhere in between and gaining rapid momentum with every show!
